Local SEO for home service contractors

Ranking is not the goal. Being the business a homeowner calls at 9pm from the map pack is the goal. We build the profile, the pages, and the signals that get you there — and we will not promise you a position, because anyone who does is guessing.

What you get

  • Google Business Profile built and maintained properly, not set-and-forget
  • Map pack visibility across every city you actually serve
  • Service-area pages that rank because they are genuinely useful
  • Technical foundation: speed, schema, internal linking, crawlability

How Local SEO works

01

The map pack is the whole game

For "roofer near me" style searches, the three map results take an enormous share of the clicks — often more than every organic result underneath them combined. Winning there is driven by proximity, prominence, and relevance, and only two of those three are things anyone can change.

We work relentlessly on the two you can: relevance (categories, services, descriptions, and the pages behind them) and prominence (reviews, citations, links, and engagement).

02

Service-area pages that are not doorway pages

Generating fifty near-identical city pages with the name swapped is a tactic from 2014 that now actively hurts. Ours are built differently: local trade context, real neighbourhood and postal-code references, the specific problems that city has, jobs completed nearby, and FAQs that differ page to page.

Fewer pages, genuinely differentiated, beats a hundred templated ones — every time.

03

Technical SEO is not optional for a contractor site

Most contractor sites we audit fail on the basics: no schema, slow on mobile, duplicate title tags, orphaned pages, broken canonical logic, and a sitemap that has not updated since it was built. We fix the foundation before we do anything else, because content on a broken foundation does not compound.

04

Rankings do not pay anyone

A number-one ranking that produces calls nobody answers is worth exactly nothing. Local SEO at Syntex is always wired into the booking layer, and the report you get is about calls and booked jobs, with rankings as a supporting indicator.
